specializing in Life Style concepts, mixing vernacular and modern aesthetics with a passion for all things traditional, the Japanese designer/maker movement and the beauty and usefulness of domestic objects.
After working as a designer for well-known Fashion houses in Europe & the USA, I moved to South-East Asia and establish MAISON SONG in 2001, a Life Style brand embodying tropical life and featuring hand embroidery and local craft traditions into modern aesthetics. SONG brand has sold in over 30 countries at well established retailers and in luxury Resorts & Hotels groups around the world (Hyatt, One & Only, Six Senses, Anantara, Song Saa…).
After twenty-two years in Vietnam with SONG, I decided to move further East, reaching the shores of Japan. Surrounded by Japan Seto inner sea's beauties and people, free from commercial race, learning from a culture and environment close to my heart, feeling how cultures and natural landscapes influence our spaces & Interiors, I now focus on sketching RAW Interiors and Lifestyle concepts for a simpler approach to our basic needs.
Advocate for change, I design within the THE BLUE ECONOMY, principals, looking at sustainable solutions in Anthropic activities while promoting a paradigm shift in economic developments.
