ART DIRECTOR & BRAND EDITOR - specializing in Life Style concepts, mixing vernacular and modern aesthetics with a passion for all things traditional, the Japanese designer/maker movement and the beauty and usefulness of domestic objects.
After working as a designer for well-known Fashion houses in Europe & the USA, she moved to South-East Asia to establish her Life Style brand MAISON SONG in 2001. Well known for translating tropical life style and local craft traditions into modern aesthetics, SONG brand has sold in over 30 countries around the world in luxury Resorts & Hotels groups (Hyatt, One & Only, Six Senses, Anantara, Song Saa…) as well as established international retailers.
VGMcK is currently working as Design Editor & Art Director for a Real Estate Japanese group.
